 POETRY COMPETITION


An opportunity for a you to bring out the poem that is hidden inside you, and for your words to be heard by millions.

The National Schools Poetry competition with the of peace (Nspc4peace)has been successfully piloted over a 3-year period.
It gives children the motivation to express what they feel about peace, even if writing is not their strongest skill. to do so.
What sets apart the NSPC4PEACE from other competitions, the winners’ poems will be turned into popular songs and they will receive their award at a special House of Lords event hosted by Lord Eames OM. 

The competition has already enlisted the support of well-known judges from the arts world such as singer-songwriter Katie Melua; Don Black; Pete Brown; Tim Heath, Chairman of The Blake Society; and competition founder, singer-songwriter Tally Koren. WE are very honoured to have arts world during the Archbishop of York who became a patron, and Lord Eames OM.

Our aim is to change the image of poetry and to popularize it and make it more accessible to everyone.
Expressing emotions are known to be very therapeutic, so this year competition we’ll children “fly” with their imagination.

PRIZES
First Prize - Your poem will be composes into a song, and be releases on the Digital Stores.
 
Second Prize – A personal   zoom session  to improve your writing skills with Tally Koren.

The best 30 poems of each will be turned into a book of Poetry for Peace and be invited to read their poems at a prestigious event. 
We'll be posting your poem on all our social media platforms.

Your words can turn to the new “ imagine” and inspire millions.!

GUIDELINES


  1.    Submissions via website or info@tckproduction.com
  2.    Entries should be submitted  from the 21st March 2022 
  3.   Only one entry per person.
  4.   The entries to the competition should only be about the theme of Peace. 
  5.   Your poem shall not exceed one A4 page and be submitted on a word document or pdf.
  6.   You must give a title to the poem, and add your full name, age, country and email address on the poem page. 

The small print: 

 *Tally will compose a melody to the piece of writing and create a song and will share a percentage of the song’s publishing rights.

 *The finalists’ works will be shared on the social media pages of the competition and Tally Koren.

  *By downloading the submission form you enter the competition and agree to be bound by its terms and the judges' final decision.
